The 122th meeting (the 13th meeting in the year of 2019) of the Intelligent Earth Academic Forum has been held from 7 pm to 10 pm, on December 15, 2019 in the 328 meeting room of the informatics campus of Wuhan University . This meeting is mainly concerned about the recent research work, the expected results and the research plan.
The Smart Earth Conference was hosted by Dr. Du Wenying, professor Chen nengcheng and associate Professor Fan Yewen form the State Key Laboratory of Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing Information Engineering (Wuhan University), associate Professor Bu Fangling from the School of Telecommunications, associate professor Hu chuli and Wang ke from China University of Geosciences and the related students attended the meeting. the total number of people reached 30.
First of all, professor Fan Yewen reported on the research progress and research plan of this group. Specifically, this project includes data selection and data types (such as basemap, environment-aware data, traffic-aware data, etc.) at the urban agglomeration scale, city scale, and block scale, and details the characteristics of the city scale as a mesoscale scene. Based on this, the data acquisition methods and data sources are proposed, and the project data volume is roughly analyzed.
Then, Dr. Du Wenying gave a work report on the theme of “Overall Design and Preliminary Progress of the Index System”. Specifically, it includes: the report presentation of the overall framework of the city’s multi-indicator and multi-scale comprehensive perception indicator system, which reports in detail the classification of the indicator system: how to classify adjacent layers; the problem of information synthesis; and the definition of elements. In addition, it talked about how to perform the characterization after the index system was constructed, mainly through the knowledge graph, and how to verify the large and complex index system that was constructed, mainly through real-time verification in practice.
Finally, Dr. Huang Min made a report on “Related Topics on the Overall Design and Research Progress of the Seamless Sensing System of Urban Surface Surface Elements”. Including the design of the main workflow and internal and external interfaces; system performance, including the accuracy of space-time recognition of observation capabilities and the corresponding speed. The current division of labor and progress, modeling and database, image data access, and perceptual data fusion modeling are introduced. And roughly deployed the next research plan and progress.
The meeting has achieved good results, and all attendees gave the affirmation and reached a consensus about the work of each group.
